Our Wallpaper Collection is made to bring ‘lived•in’ design into your home. Layers, color, & texture combine to help make your rooms uniquely yours & help evoke that casual elegance you are seeking.

Why order a swatch?

We highly encourage you to order our samples and bring them into your home, to see them in conjunction with your lighting and your unique space. Depending on the device you are viewing our collection on, colors can vary. Additionally, some of the images on our website & instagram are rendered and so we want you to see and feel the papers in person. Our swatches typically ship out USPS, but if you are in a hurry we can expedite your shipping with UPS for an additional fee.

Where can I see Main & Market Collections in person?

Currently, you can order samples from the Main & Market website. Email us directly with any questions about pricing, bespoke requests, or anything else you need details on. We are about to be exclusively represented by a wonderful boutique showroom in Manhattan, where you can see our collection in person and also get samples.

What is the scope of the project? or Can you give me a quick estimate?

You’ll want to have a professional installer measure up your job and let you know how much wallpaper you’ll need. Our papers are printed to order, with a lead time of 4-6 weeks plus shipping. Because they are printed just for you, they are not returnable - we want you want to be sure to get it right! For budgeting purposes and to get a rough idea of how much paper you’ll need you can use our quick estimator hints.

How many Yards will I really need?

We can help your installer with any questions as they estimate your job, but we do not offer estimating services - as we said we highly recommend getting a professional wallpaper installer to estimate your job. Our wallpapers are printed on a continuous bolt and priced by the yard. We also recommend that you have this wallpaper professionally installed.

Why is the wallpaper untrimmed? or Up, Down, Trim, Join & Ship

Untrimmed wallpaper allows installers to more precisely control installation, matching seams, and allowing for variations inherent on your room’s surfaces. The selvage also allows us to print direction details for the installers to help with positioning and alignment. Last but not least, that selvage detail protects the edges during shipping, ensuring your wallpaper is ready to go.

Why all the math? Or what to tell your installer

It’s all in the math. Our papers are shipped untrimmed and depending on the ground the finished width is 27” for clay coated or 33” for sisal grasscloth & paper weaves. Other crucial measurements are the pattern repeat and pattern match. Our wallpapers are priced by the yard & printed on a continuous bolt up to 70 yards. Depending on the size of the job, your yardage may be shipped on multiple bolts. We highly recommend that you round up your estimate at least 10% to be sure you have enough & in case of measurement or installation errors. Even though our color matching is meticulous we want your entire job printed together to eliminate any issues or additional color matching charges. Also, who wants to wait again for a reprint?

How - tos

It is recommended that you have this wallpaper professionally installed. We can help your installer with any questions as they estimate your job, but we do not offer estimating services. Our papers ship untrimmed and unpasted, & are installed traditionally. We provide directions tailored to your selected ground with recommendations to help ensure that your project is prepped and installed correctly.

What is your lead time?

All of our wallpaper is printed especially for your project. Typically our wallpapers are ready for shipping in 4-6 weeks. Rush printing is available for a $250 charge per SKU. Bespoke orders including custom colorways, grounds, & scale adjustments are available for a fee, but add time to production and are handled on a case by case basis.

What are your shipping prices?

Our shipping prices vary based on the size of the order and the number of boxes required to get your paper to you. Feel free to contact us for an estimate. Expedited shipping is also available for an additional fee.

What can I do with the leftovers?

We want you to order enough to be sure the job goes smoothly. You’re likely to have some trimmed pieces and a bit of overage. I always think its best to hang onto a piece in case somehow your paper gets damaged in a spot - it’s like a little insurance. But with any other extra you can line the back of a bookcase, line drawers in a special bureau or secretary, wrap a special gift, or beautifully finish the back of a frame - the possibilities are endless.

What about returns?

Our wallpapers are custom printed to order especially for you and therefore all sales are final. Unless the product is damaged in shipping or a defect in the product is determined we cannot accept returns or exchanges. Any claims must be made within 10 days of receipt and must be approved prior to return shipping.

What kind of material is your wallpaper?

Our collection is digitally printed with water-based inks on three grounds - clay coated paper, sisal grasscloth and paperweave. All of our grounds meet the highest standards of environmental responsibility and eco-friendliness. All of our papers are Class A fire rated. Custom orders on commercial grade grounds or our new performance non-woven ground are available as a bespoke order.
